Description

The Village of Villasavary has taken an unprecedented approach to promoting its village centre and its historical and architectural heritage: signposting and information panels, and devices enabling virtual tours of the village’s centres of interest.
Visitors can now discover the village’s heritage on their own, using a tablet or smartphone, with panoramic views, archive documents and 360° views of building interiors. All you have to do along the way is flash the QR codes located on the points of interest. In this way, the physical tour now doubles up as a virtual tour with two entrances:
– visible on the internet, with panoramas of places that are not easily accessible or closed to visitors (the choir and bell tower of the church, the Glacière mill……)
– accessible on smartphones and connected tablets. Users can access archives, old photos, captioned panoramas, etc.
