First part – 8:30 PM: Châmade
Châmade is a lively band founded in 2023 in the south of Réunion Island. The group skillfully blends ska, dub, funk, and hip-hop. At the end of 2024, the project took a fresh start with a new team in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude. Their committed, sharp, funny, and poetic lyrics, delivered with flair, ignite and electrify the crowds. Châmade combines acoustic and festive elements with the power of electronic music and the humor of colorful characters! Since June 2025, the band has been finalizing their set, hitting the stages, and gathering an ever-growing audience. They are currently working on an EP set to release in 2026.

9:30 PM: Jahneration
Jahneration, an essential duo in French reggae, will heat up Place Carnot on Wednesday, July 15th. With their unifying choruses and infectious energy, Jahneration promises a festive evening filled with good vibrations.
The Parisian duo Jahneration, formed by Thëo and Ogach, was created in 2009 when these two middle school friends decided to trade punk rock for reggae. Musicians since childhood, they compose, write, and sing in a mix of English and Jamaican patois. Passionate about the island and its music, the duo draws inspiration from frequent trips there. In 2017, they recorded with their musicians at the legendary Tuff Gong Studios, the Marley family’s studio. This led to notable collaborations with international reggae stars like Alborosie and Queen Omega, as well as many French artists, including Manu Chao, Dub Inc, Danakil, and Naâman.
Their meeting with Naâman in 2011 marked a turning point in their careers with the track “Me Nah Fed Up”—a reggae/hip-hop piece that left a lasting impression on young reggae fans and secured them a loyal first audience. In 2015, Jahneration signed with the independent label Ovastand, establishing themselves in the contemporary music scene. Over 10 years, they have toured France, its overseas territories, Europe, India, and Canada, performing over 400 concerts. After opening for major venues and Zéniths across France, they sold out the Olympia in 2022 and now perform to packed houses nationwide.
With six albums under their belt, Jahneration has become one of the most essential acts in French reggae. Prolific, creative, and powerful on stage, they bring together a vast audience with their modern and dynamic reggae.
