Description

First part – 8:30 PM: Mélanie Lesage
Mélanie Lesage takes you aboard a sailboat along the French coast and invites you into the intimacy of her cabin. Warmed by Mélanie’s sunny timbre, the songs of this young trio are simple and light, accompanied by the notes of a Rhodes piano, a lap steel guitar, and a double bass. Let yourself be swept away by this poetic universe and dive headfirst into this Pop-Folk cocoon for a timeless moment! You’ll likely encounter the spirits of Pomme, Olivia Ruiz, or Norah Jones. While waiting for the release of her second EP, scheduled for early 2027, the trio is releasing their reinterpretation of Michel Berger’s classic “Ella Elle L’a” in April 2026.

9:30 PM: Cœur de Pirate
Place Carnot will welcome the sensitive and elegant universe of Cœur de Pirate. A sincere and luminous concert carried by the Canadian artist’s famous songs, which know how to touch the heart, for an evening full of sweetness and emotion in the heart of Carcassonne.
For over 15 years, Béatrice Martin has made her alias Cœur de Pirate a staple of Francophone pop music and a companion for broken hearts. With a meteoric career, she charms and surprises—again and again. With her intimate and sharp voice, as well as an enigmatic veil covering it, the singer-songwriter crafts her pieces with the precision of a jeweler, capable of subtle piano compositions as well as disco flights. With half a dozen celebrated albums that she has performed in packed venues across Quebec, France, and the United States, she has also served, since 2021, as president and artistic director of the record label Bravo Musique et Talents.
A cornerstone of Francophone music, Cœur de Pirate is capable of introspection and exhilaration, as well as subversion, with her intimate and sharp voice. An international pop icon splitting her life and career between Quebec and Europe, she has performed around the world since her dazzling debut in 2008. Since 2025, she has returned to the stage to present her album Cavale. This new show, with its grand scenography, showcases both the woman at the piano and the star who dances. It retains her distinctive way—both melancholic and vibrant—of delivering emotion while inviting the crowd to celebrate. An evening with Cœur de Pirate is the volatility of feelings presented with the care of a goldsmith, between contemplation and exhilaration.
