First Gothic church in Narbonne and one of the oldest of the South. Built on the tomb of the first bishop of Narbonne, Saint-Paul, its crypt corresponds to the old early Christian cemetery (3rd and 4th centuries). Raised in 1180, its chancel will be built only between 1224 and 1230 the vaults, as for them, are rebuilt around 1368. This religious building has the characteristic to present Romanesque art and Gothic art curiously mixed in architecture. But it is not the only attraction of this church which also offers to the curiosity of the visitor his famous stoup with frog and its remarkable chapiter of the Judgement Day.
