Winner of the Jury’s Favorite Award at the 2025 Futuring Festival, Alexreste invites audiences into a retro-inspired world filled with gentle, nostalgic atmospheres. Add poetry, commitment, and authenticity, and the scene is set.
Alexreste is a queer, feminist, and socially engaged artist from southwestern France, near Bordeaux. She began her musical journey in Lyon before continuing her development in Toulouse. Her warm, distinctive voice is instantly recognizable and inhabits a folk and folk-rock universe where poetry intertwines with guitars, violin, and percussion.
Between 2024 and 2025, she released her debut EP, Ecchymose, followed by a series of concerts and festival appearances. She is currently working on her first full-length album.
