Description

The 45 hectares of Château Canet vineyards are located in the Balcon de l’Aude region, under the Minervois designation: clay and limestone soil, ideal for wine-growing.
The vineyards are worked following responsible farming principles in line with the Terra Vitis specifications.
The main grape variety, Syrah (Shiraz), covers 25 hectares, i.e. more than half of the estate. 4.5 hectares of a more mineral soil are planted with Chardonnay; the remaining land is devoted to Grenache and Merlot; to a lesser extent, Roussanne and Bourboulenc form the basis of the Chateau Canet Minervois white wines.
