Description

Port la Nouvelle is a Mediterranean coastal town located at the gateway to the Cathar Country, between the shrubland and its spicy scents of the Corbières and the soft, blue colour of the Mediterranean Sea, and is an unmissable seaside resort to be discovered by the whole family.
Its 250 days on sunshine per year, its 10 km of fine, sandy beaches, the two sites protected by the coastal protection agency (Ile Sainte Lucie, Domaine de Frescati), the shrubland, the lagoons and the Canal de la Robine, registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list, provide for a harmonious and authentic lifestyle.
