Description

A botanical garden created in 1991, set in an outstanding, wild “garrigue” landscape – the typical scrubland of the south. The garden covers 7.5 hectares and is made up of three parts. The arboretum has more than 300 species of trees, shrubs, palms and conifers – 2,500 trees have been planted here. The cactus rock gardens have around 8,000 plants (including 1,300 different species). The Mediterranean zone has about 340 species. It is one of the largest collections of ground-planted cacti and succulents in France and also boasts a collection of agaves. Open all year round at weekends and public holidays from 09:00 to 18:00 and on weekdays by appointment.
