*The Land of Smiles* is an enchanting operetta by Franz Lehár, blending romance, splendour and emotion.

The story follows Lisa, a young Viennese woman who, driven by love, leaves her familiar world behind to follow Prince Sou-Chong into a world of splendour and tradition. Featuring a richly melodic score, the work is renowned for its unforgettable arias, including the famous “You Have Given Me My Heart”, which has become a classic of the operatic repertoire.

Moving between elegant waltzes and more poignant passages, Lehár creates a work that is both dazzling and deeply human.
