Description

Sophie les bas Bleus is first of all the meeting of two Sophies, two souls, two women, two distinct characters who sometimes become one. Together they throw in your face a French song that is by turns festive or more bitter, slammed, exalted or bawled, an unclassifiable and committed java but all in lightness and second degree. A wild accordion and an inhabited singer intertwined, a rhythmic or melodic guitar, a pounding double bass and a frenetic drums will make you go from swaying dances to wild waltzes and jump to your heart’s content to dusted trad tunes.

Les Tambours du Bronx is a French industrial percussion group known for its live performances giving meaning to the expression “living art”: energy, flow, life itself emanates from the playing of this 16-head band which, far to leave unmoved, fascinate and overwhelm… They use oil cans and pickaxe handles, and their radical approach is to start at the root. They have performed around the world and collaborated with Killing Joke, Les Frères Morvan and Sepultura, and their merger with Sepultura resulted in the album “Metal Veins, Alive at Rock in Rio”. The band’s music mixes rock, industrial, techno and afrobeat and mixes synthetic sounds and samples. In 2018, they released their first industrial metal album,
“Weapons of Mass Percussion,” which was critically acclaimed. In 2023, their second metal album titled “Evilution” was unveiled to the public, continuing to push the boundaries of musical experimentation and creativity…
