Description

At Bugarach, an observatory has been set up at the foot of the Falconnière cliffs, in the middle of a Sensitive Natural Site in the Department of Aude. It is equipped with information panels on these carrion-eating raptors in their natural environment. Visitors can enter free of charge all year long to observe the vultures eating on their special plot and sleeping in the cliffs. The observatory is located in the Rouilhe Pass at the starting point of the trail leading to the “Pont Romain”.
