Incarné par Francis Huster, Hamlet The End - 1

Description

Comedy Written and Directed by Francis Huster, Accompanied on Cello by Callune Kippeurt
In Homage to Jean-Louis Barrault

A loyal participant of the Festival de Carcassonne, Francis Huster makes his grand return with Hamlet The End, his new creation inspired by the legendary Shakespearean character, promising, as usual, an unforgettable performance in the heart of the majestic Château Comtal. To celebrate the 20th edition of the Festival de Carcassonne, how could we not pay tribute to the Himalaya of theater, William Shakespeare, who magnified the world. I choose my words carefully. Unlike the scandalous instruction that does not even educate young students by drawing from the true Bible of man and woman by the greatest of those who dared to defy all political, social, religious, military, financial, medical, scientific, familial, criminal, and educational powers… no one escaping to liberate those who are slaves and martyrs of this land of lies and blood. Not only did he dare to cry out the truth against the falsifications of so-called historians, pseudo-heroes, and well-meaning traitors, but with a mad courage for his time, he unmasked with his bare hands what everyone believed was their duty: to obey. To obey, the worst of faults since it was about obeying monsters who lied to them about everything! William Shakespeare bequeathed to the world, and for centuries to come, the most beautiful of revolts: dignity.

His masterpiece “Hamlet” has been seen by billions of people around the world for over five centuries, on stage and on screen. Magnificent films, prestigious stage interpretations… Adapted, translated, modernized, or as it was in the 16th century, Hamlet has never ceased to triumph. Why? Because there is no equivalent to that sudden moment when the hero, skull in hand, evokes what awaits us all, having thus become skeletons, our souls fleeing.
