In Languedoc-Roussillon, where people have a harsh accent, lies a land of character where past gives strength to the present.
At the foot of the ancient Cité de Carcassonne, between the Mediterranean at East and the Lauragais at West, lies the world's most fickle, light and wild land :Aude, the Cathar Country.
The key word here is diversity. In spectacular natural landscapes, in the heart of ageless vineyards, you will discover successively romanesque abbeys, caves, beaches and seaside ponds.
You will wander under the hundred-year-old trees of the Canal du Midi, or will practice mountain or sea outdoor activities.
You will take the invitation of culinary pleasures, great wines and Aude's gastronomy.
Welcome in Aude, the Cathar Country
